Book Talks

Book Talks

Homework for next week is a fiction book talk.  Here are a few examples of the quality of work we are looking for with this assignment.  Your child will be completing several book talks over the last trimester.  Please have your child practice presenting their talk at home with you!

Video Examples of Book Talks:

Our book talk poster and information will be sent home on Thursday, March 19th and is due on Tuesday, March 31st.  We will have several students present their book talks each day beginning on the 31st.
Have a wonderful spring break!

Boise Watershed Field Trip

We had a fun time at the Watershed today!  We learned lots about weather, recycling, and minimizing pollution!  Below are a few pictures from our day:

Thank you to our parent volunteers and Miss Kim from our ERR room who helped make our field trip a success!

Meet the Masters

A BIG thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Miner for volunteering (again!) to lead the Meet the Masters art project in our classroom!  They do a fabulous job and our kids had a fun time creating their masterpieces this morning!

I hope to see you all tonight at our school musical, The Aristocats!  It's going to be a fun time for all!
